That far down, you may get the opportunity to select from possible color finishes or added colors.

BMW build seems magical…
i was looking to buy a Blackwing before i seen the M2 and current wait times for a CT5 BW is 18 months to start some people are almost 2 years.

personally i understand not liking the waiting time to have cars built, and to be honest this is my first BMW i will own. I do think that BMW and Cadillac could up there production but at what cost.

These are limited production cars and no different that any other auto maker on their limited productions. Unfortunately, it is what it is in this day and age.

Why the CT5-V BW? The 4BW is the more direct competitor to the M2. Is the wait time for the 4BW just as bad?

Well, these are not really limited production cars. Yes, there are not as many produced as the non-performance versions. This has way more to do with the supply chain and post pandemic world. Prior to the pandemic it was never an issue ordering an M or a V. Have owned both and these wait times are new.

Yep! "Limited production" means that the number is capped in advance (ex: only 2000 will be made). BMW has no fixed cap on the M cars.

As we can see, BMW is struggling to build all the G87's they have scheduled, due to lack of carbon parts.

They are not massed produced, so yes, they are a limited production annually (and I wouldn't be surprised if BMW did have a number annually that is just not disclosed). I never said they were limited to a certain number like a 70/71 hemi cuda convertible (14 and 7 respectively if I am recallingcorrectly) which would make them rare.

Hey guys, new to this thread but I work over at Chapman BMW in Arizona and wanted to know if there were any locals that were interested in an M2. We have a Brooklyn Grey one with a manual transmission that just came available. The car will be here in a month. Let me know if anyone is interested we do not sell outside of the state.

4BW was as bad but now seem to ship out after 3 months. A lot of folks still have to wait a long time for carbon. So much GM started to take carbon off as an option for seat backs.

The 4B is more like the competitor for the M240.
