very well done, congratulations.
regarding the splitter, a personal aesthetic opinion: l’d keep the color matched version. these cars have always looked (to me) as though parts had fallen off the front, maybe after an at-speed encounter with a gopher.
just a detail, car looks great.

Love that you matched the splitter to the color of the car. Not something I would have thought to do, although something I have seen previously, and this is probably the first time I’ve liked it more than unpainted/CF.

In everyone’s opinion, is this color close to twilight purple Indy color? The latest rumor is it may be offered on the 2025.
Cheers.
They will have the car all week.
I feel twilight is quite different, more towards purple-magenta/blue, this more towards purple-brown/burgundy.

2) How much was the wrap & labor cost /// and how much more was that then leaving out the door jambs?

Thanks.
My first time wrapping a car. What I like about the idea is reversibility, ease of re-wrapping damage vs repainting.

1) I did not rush them. Took over 2 weeks with few other things being done like roof ppf, downpipes, muffler painting. There was also a delay, and more wrap had to be ordered. They were not happy with one of the bumpers and decided to redo it. I appreciated the attention to detail so I didn’t push them.

2) Difficult to talk about money. Plenty of hack job cheap wrappers out there. I decided to go with guys who are a pro-dealer for Evolv. Reputation is everything.
Car wrap would be circa $4K+. It can be more for some colors by Evolv that have a dual layer design. Door jambs will vary by car and installer. G87 is 2 door so less than 4 door cars. Labor is substantial and involves removal of doors. Cost would be easily 50% more on top of body wrap. Most people opt not to do it. These are generalizations, ymmv.

Price also would vary by location. Pricing is obviously more in certain locations. As you said, dont cheap out (or you wont be happy with the results). Price would also be more if you didn't have a cf roof.

Looks great man. I will likely be wrapping mine Inozetek midnight purple sometime this year.

Which size (mm) exhaust tips did you get? Think I'm going to get some knockoff carbon ones since I'll be keeping stock axleback. Already so loud with catless dps

Monaco Motorsports. I’m pretty sure 80mm.
https://monacoms.com/bmw-black-carbo...o-motorsports/

Quality is very good for price. About $350.
Outside diameter is slightly smaller then OEM. Makes it even more important to paint that eye sore muffler black. I recommend you do that if you haven’t.

I like your car in black, surprised you want to wrap. But what the heck, we do want we want. Looking forward to seeing it.

Thanks for the info - debating if I'll go with these or something a little larger diameter. I'm going to get around to painting the muffler for sure.

Haha I do like the black, but always liked that purple a lot. Was going to wrap my old M2C in it but it went out of stock right as my wrap appointment came around so went with blue.

I couldn’t find a better option. BMW cf tips are some ridiculous $1600, and, which is worse, are chrome. Other companies either have CF over chrome as well, or insist or having own logo/lettering. I was looking for cf over black.

I’ll keep looking. Monaco might be “Chinese knockoff”, but so are many of the “brand” names underneath it all. At least their color choices are spot on and they look clean. And, at $350 don’t care if they hold up.

Been considering that wing you have rcouchh. Hard to pull the trigger with non-reversibility of drilling the trunk. Never had a big wing, but I’m game to try.
Build has been universally appreciated here so far. Wings become more polarizing.

I have no problem trying knockoffs. My grille I just put on is a chinese rep for $450, fitment was good and I had to cut it anyway for the intakes. Glad I didn't spend $1500 for the Alpha in this case.

Active also makes a set of OEM replacement tips with cf over black chrome. Theirs are 100mm openings, but cost $1100. Probably the best looking but I'm not sure if that price is worth it to me.

The Alpha wing is a piece of art! Can always have the holes filled and trunklid repainted.

Color and build look great! Much better than the blue, which is an interesting color, but as you said it doesn't suit the car as well in my opinion.

I would vote on on a wing as the subtle decklid/duckbill wing you have on there is perfect, but of course it's your car, your choice.

I'd love to see it with the carbon lip exposed (when the new one arrives). I think that will look great and match more of the side skirts are diffuser.
