2023 BMW M240i xDrive (ZTK)

Apex Wheels - VS-5RS
in Motorsport Gold
Front: 19x9" ET25
Rear: 19x10" ET38

Michelin Pilot Sport 4S
Front: 255/35-19
Rear: 285/30-19

Other related bits:
- 12mm H&R Spacers (All 4)
*would recommend 10mm on the rear with these wheels… it’s stupid close to contact when under full compression
- Dähler Sport Springs:
Front Lowering: 25 mm/1.0″
Rear Lowering: 20 mm/0.8″

Any concerns with the 1.2% difference? Generally you don’t want to exceed 1% front and rear diameter for X-Drive…

Not overly concerned…

ApexWheels considers it an xDrive compatatible fitment… and tbh that was enough for me so I could get use out of my factory 255. 🤪

Next time around I’ll opt for 255/40 out front to be closer to exact.

Looks great !

Question about the BMW center caps on the Apex wheels -

Was this an option from Apex to have the wheels accept BMW center caps ?

Did you order BMW center caps, or did you use the caps from your OEM wheels ?

Their wheels natively accept the BMW caps. These are the anniversary roundels which I got special for these wheels since my 240 didn’t come with them. Working to swap the rest of the badges out to match.

@[BabyM240i] Love your aggressive fitment with the 12mm spacer. Currently I have ordered a set of 19x9.5 et20. This offset is pretty close to your rear 19x10 et 26 (38-12mm).

I am only concerned about the 35 series tire in the rear as its a little taller that yours.

Would you say, the width or height of the tirewall is a greater influence in causing possible rubbing?

Would 19x9.5 +23 with a 265/35 squared fit well flush or would be to aggressive past the fenders on non ztk g42. Thanks

255/35-19 // Rear: 285/30-19

Next time around I’m going to get 255/40/19 to make sure I don’t piss off xDrive. I don’t think that will be an issue.

On the rear tho… any taller or wider with the 12mm spacers would be concerning. The tire is as close as a business card away from the inside of the fender during full compression on the right rear especially. If I ever buy a slightly different tire or brand I’d consider getting a 10mm spacer on the rear.

It would be on the aggressive side, but not by a crazy amount (just 2mm which is barely noticeable)
Apex allows for 19x9.5 +25 with that exact tire, and it looks pretty good.

Now regarding non-ZTK, thats a tough call. I believe the ZTX over-fenders provide 5mm of extra coverage. You'll have to review the pics in the second example and add your own 2 cents.

Bear in mind, I am non-ZTK and will most likely settle on +20 offset.

Yikes!!
Right now, i am basically where you are with the 12mm, AND ill have a taller 35 sidewall vs your 30....AND i am 5mm lower than your Dähler Sport springs in the rear...

I might be screwed here...

Maybe it slides by! There may be some variance car to car. Just be careful when you set the car down 🤪

I had the offset revised to +22 in the rear (going off of your 10mm spacer recommendation) and keeping the +20 in the fronts

I have the same measurements for the wheels…
19x9” front & 19x10” rear

I don't have the fender liners (I think u guys call it ZTK) like u do.

So I understand correctly at the front some 255/40 and the rear what do u put?

BabyM240i...I am wanting to put BBS FS in 19x9 with 25 ET (squared). I see you have the same wheel size, but use spacers.

Were there fitment issues without the spacers?
