MFactory Helical LSD Group Buy - AU$850 Shipped!
I'm in no way affiliated with MFactory but rather an interested customer if we can get 5 LSDs in the group buy. I believe that they are a sponsor anyway so no rules broken.
MFactory have said that we can mix and match ANY BMW helical LSDs, all for AU$850 each shipped, as long as we get 5 in total! This applies to anybody in either Australia or NZ. Fitment list can be found here: http://www.teammfactory.com/helical-lsd_BMW Please post in this thread AND PM me if genuinely ready to buy one of these. Info on the MFactory helical LSD can be found: http://www.teammfactory.com/helical-lsd http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=799541 So far we have: Small bolted (MF-TRS-05E46A): bradsm87, t651 @ e46fanatics, CCK135I, mcmn Large bolted (MF-TRS-05E92): huber E46 330Ci (Unsure if Auto or Manual) - selien @ e46fanatics I'm keen to get my hands on one ASAP so please tell all your friends, share on Facebook, do whatever you have to do! Hi dan, I have done a bit of research so I might save you some time, I spoke to Mfactory HQ it costs $850 for the diff and it will cost $300-400 for the welded bits but they are not engineered yet, the reseller here charges an extra $300 for the diff, he didn't give me a price for the ring gear. Fitting wise... Where are you based?

Same here, interested if they can manufacture the ring gear for a welded 135i diff - do we know when these will be available?

It's for a welded 6MT. They are building a ring gear and pinion that will have the same bolt pattern as a bolted diff, that means you will be able to use the Mfactory gears with a Quaife and Wavetrac LSD as well.

I'm pretty sure there's gonna be ALOT of interest in the welded ring gear when it comes out. I know I am waiting on it so I don't have to pay 4k for a diff from the states....

Read this,
http://www.vacmotorsports.com/blog/3...no-lsd-really/ Then this, http://www.vacmotorsports.com/blog/v...-how-we-do-it/ Basically, mFactory are developing their own ring gear so we can buy a core like all the bolted guys and have it built. At present all other options suck |
