YMB M4 and AW M3 at Encinitas
Stopped by just to see if they had any since it's on my way home and, to my surprise, I finally got to see Yas Marina Blue in the flesh! Loved it! Also preferred to M3 over the M4, making me feel that much better about my YMB M3 order. Here's some pics. Sorry they're not the best. Taken with my phone and it was pretty crowded back there. The guy who bought the M4 was there too waiting for his car. Loaded with a $91K sticker. Not sure if the M3 was sold, but had a $81K sticker.

Oh yea, and both cars were running. Sounded great to me at idle. Deep rumble. Didn't get to hear either rev, but when they drove the M4 to the front of the lot just going 4 or 5 mph it had a real nice sound to it. Overall I was very pleased with what I heard and saw...not I'm even MORE excited about mine!!

YMB coupe is whispering my name. All it needs are painted front & rear reflectors/black side markers from IND, black grills up front, a drop and some spacers.

love both of them. I think I am going to go with YMB my next set up. The color has grown more and more on me every time I see it.

Loving YMB in these shots. I've been asking dealers in the LA area if they've got a YMB car that I could check out but I haven't had much luck. I think I'll make a road trip down to San Diego this weekend to see this one in the flesh if it's somehow still being prepped.

Got to drive the new M3 and M4 at the AutoBahn Country Club track in Chicago last friday for M-Certification....Huge improvement, car feels lighter, more nimble, very precise steering....ooh and that low end torque....second you put you foot down you forget that it doesn't sound like old V8. You just go like HOLY...S%$T
that's fast...... |

And I really love the way that it looks in those two shots. I'm curious to see what it looks like in bright sunlight though. The light flake really washes out the color and that's the only part that I'm still hesitant about. |
