Problems with the illuminated M-Seat Logo

Hi,

my M-Logo in the drivers seat makes a weird noise during dimming down the light.

Thanks

I checked it again. And the sound comes from both seats. So i guess it's normal.

Mine makes a buzzing electrical sound similar to what power lines make if that makes sense.

Aren't those suppose to add "drama" to the interior?

The illuminated logo in the seat is one thing about the F80 I think is cheesy.

Perfectly normal. Just don't sit back in the seat if you were in the rain beforehand.

That is BMWs new safety feature. If it detects you are falling asleep the M logo gives your back 10,000 volts to wake you up

I have the same noise. It's probably not problematic though.

Especially if it's making noise! Wtf

Why can't they do something like the E36 and have some cool tri color fabric stitched somewhere. Would be a cool tribute.

I, for one, applaud the attempt to do something unique.

I didn't hear any noises from my seats, but I was not looking for it. I hope you are enjoying your car! It was nice to meet you in Munich. I sadly am still waiting!

Which part?

The light or the light + the soundtrack?

Hello everyone, I placed my order for an M3 yesterday but was not aware the seat logo illuminated. I'd love to see what this looks like in the evening, but a search on these forums and google turned up no hits. Anyone have a photo of what it looks like at night?

Thank you!

Edit:
Wasnt even looking on YouTube but stumbled across this video that shows them. Kind of gimmicky, but coming from a 2004 330i Sport, I get a bit excited about all of these things.
