1-Is your battery Oem ?
2-What was happened ? We see nothing ?
3-You have replaced your battery ... so your supposed to know how it sat ? (strange )
4-I'm seeing nothing and I know nothing about your situation !

Im not sure why. I bought the Bosch Platinum Series AGM Battery Group Size H8/L5/49 at pep boy. When I placed the new battery in and then screw down the two long hold down screws and as the hold down screws get tight the head of the hold down screws touch the top, side of the battery. I removed all the panels to double check the battery and surely enough the head of the hold down screws was rubbing against the battery. Im trying upload the pics but it upload because of the size of the pictures. Im no computer guy so Im still trying to find out how to compress the size of the pics.

In the first pic, does that hold down plate sit the way it is shown in the pic, then place the battery in place and screw down the two hold down screws right?
