Hit a cat (or an another small animal) yesterday while driving :-(. I hope it will survive (it escaped!). I was cruising around 50kp/h (31mph) when the "crash" happen. There is few damage on my car... :

Easy fix!! Its most likely the holder in the back just came out, take off the bumper and you should be able to put it back in place. Glad you weren't hurt or any paint damage!

Same thing happened to me last year. Except I hit a 100 pound pitbull. Felt so bad when it happened. Especially after the owner told me just a few months before this the dog saved their lives from their burning home while they were sleeping. Crazy story. It was in their front yard unleashed on a busy main road and got away from them and just ran out in the street. I clipped it w the right front of my bumper. Blew out the oil cooler and cracked the bumper and fog light. Had to tow it home. Sorry for the thread jack, but I know how you feel. Luckily yours looks like an easy fix and hopefully no cost to you.

Unfortunately, I had some idiots in a white SUV take a chunk out of my right rear fender at a restraint the other night (he took off but left some paint behind). It's going to be about $700 to fix, but they don't have to replace any parts. I always use all of the parking assistance stuff to make sure I'm as far away from other cars as possible, but obviously this guy didn't care. Not much you can do about that.

Between my e39 and 335i, I hit 3 or 4 animals on the same rural stretch of road in Texas. The repairs averaged about 1k per. But, I would see 20+ deer on average so I was fortunate it was smaller animals. I drove generally between 1am-5am when no one was on the road, some fun and winding stretches of road. My own special section for some top speed tests (Really foolish and dangerous looking back lol)
