My M4 Went To IKEA...

and came out with this Swedish meatball. It's a 2015.5 Volvo V60 Polestar #62 out 80 coming to the States. My wife traded in our beloved 2011 X5d and (for me) it was hard not having 2 BMWs in the garage after all these years. As ridiculous a comparison, this little Swedish Fish was actually compared against the F80 and RS4 (scroll down to see the article/translation):

Came in expecting the trunk of your M4 held closed with bungees and boxes filled with particle board sticking out the windows. In that respect, I'm moderately disappointed.

Great looking Volvo, though! Those seats look particularly comfy...

Would have definitely gone Rebel Blue, but this is wifey's car and she would only take black or nothing!

The seats are very comfortable/snug. This is my first Volvo, but I understand they are know for their front seats

You have one of the most handsome wagons on the market! Stunning, quick, and handles very well! Interior is fantastic as well! Great collection, I'd trade my X5 in a heartbeat for the Pole

Thanks.
It's just really unfortunate other Euro brands don't feel there is a need here in the States for "sport wagons." Sure BMW has the 328i/d and Audi's Allroad, but for us enthusiasts, bring over the real deals--RS4/6 Avants, M550d touring or even a 335xi wagon!

I must admit, the 1967 P1800S isn't mine. Remember, I'm new to Volvo. It belongs to my neighbor up the street who just so happens to be the President of the Volvo Car Club of America. His car was actually featured on Jerry Seinfeld's Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee. Jerry actually autographed the driver's side door jam. Here's the video if any one is interested:

YES!

We used to have a W8 Passat wagon and were replacing it 2 years ago. For a full size wagon our option was: The Benz E350. Period. (well, was an XC70, but I didn't like it at all)

No A6, no 5 series, not even another bloody VW in that size.

...to say nothing of M5 wagons or RS6 Avants or Jag shooting brakes or anything.

I love the MB, but I get so damn jealous when I read about the options I would have on the other side of the Atlantic.

Funny you should ask...
My buddy (the guy in the green shirt) who was over to do this little photo shoot with a real camera (not these phone pics) commented that the Volvo sounded better as I pulled it out of the garage compared to when I pulled the M4 out (cold). I laughed and told him about the controversy here regarding the exhaust note. But as we all know, once the M warmed up it sounds great. But I must say, the Volvo has a full-flow exhaust and sounds very good, especially in sport. The whole car (Polestar) reminds me of my previous 335is, but faster and with better handling from the adjustable Ohlins dampers. Right now they are set at the factory-spec in the middle (#10) but can go up to #20 for even better control, but I imagine that would be too uncomfortable for my wife.

I really like the exterior, the wheels are pretty gorgeous as well. But not a big fan of the interior, though (I just prefer the "german" style interiors).
