iPhone 6 Snap in adapter

How long do you think it'll take BMW to come out with the iPhone 6 and 6+ snap in adapter? I actually ordered the plastic trim to do the removal and gain some extra space but just in case my wife wants it when it becomes her car next year.

I don't think the 6+ would even fit in there! The 6 is probably going to be tight. I would guess January. Took about 4 months for the "5"adapter to come out if i recall. One of the reasons i ordered the 4.7" iphone 6. Easier to fit in console (and pocket of course).

I'm not sure the 6 plus will even fit in the cup holders, too wide right? gonna have to put that thing on the roof! I kid, but honestly, where do people even put these big phones? Makes me think of my Dad's old bag phone that he kept in the center console of his Dodge Ram Charger (center console in that thing was like a college size fridge).

My first X5 was an '07 E70 and it had that little slot that was perfect for the phones people wanted at that time, as small as possible. Now everyone wants a bigger phone, so that same slot in the F15 is for the key fob instead… funny how things have come full circle.
