Front seats rocking?
Has anyone noticed some play (maybe 2mm) in the front seatbacks?
I noticed this on the one I test drove and was wondering if 'they all do that'? To be clear, you could rock the seatback back and forth a small distance. |

Mine move a tad but no more/less than any other car I have owned. Have you owned a car where you could not wiggle the seat back 2mm?

If you are talking about the M4, it only makes sense since the seat backs fold forward. They have to have some (minute amount) play to unlatch properly. That being said, I am never aware of the seat backs moving when driving the car.

They don't move on any other car I've owned (Porsche, Infiniti, Lexus, MB, Acura). Only on my Lotus did they rock. Don't love that, but at least it happens on all of them. Oh well... |
