Do you know what your alarm sounds like?

The other night my friend and I heard an alarm going off near my house. Both of us just scoffed and continued watching TV (as I think a lot of us would do). Then we quickly realized that neither of us know what our alarms sound like. My M4 and his new Audi Q5. We ran outside to check and it was the neighbor.

Do you know what your alarm sounds like, so that if it is going off, you can recognize it?

Update: I tried to set the alarm off by pushing the red button on the remote, and nothing happened. Maybe I didn't push it long enough.

Lend my Russell and leave him in the car, sets it off every time with him moving inside and me forgetting to press the button twice.

Alarms of all kind just annoy the hell out of me. they scream everywhere so often no one pays any attention to them anymore.

You have to hold the panic button for three seconds.

Go to the south side near I35 and you'll find out.

But seriously, it's a high pitched warble, the tire shop set mine off on the rack and I did it when I unlocked it with the physical key and started putzing around inside.

Weeeeee-ooooo-Weeeeee-ooooo-Weeeeee-ooooo-Weeeeee-ooooo.

Like that exactly.

Kidding aside, if you have the car locked with people inside (e.g. waiting while you pick up something) if they move the alarm will go off. So, haven't figured out how to lock the car but keep the alarm off...
