Comfort Access, it seems that in the morning when I put my key in my pocket and my hand on the drivers side door handle it works, the doors unlock. When I get out of the car close the door and put my hand on door handle it doesn't lock it. Is it suppose to lock the doors when you do this?

When I try to lock the doors I hear a clicking sound from rear door but doors are not locking. Am I doing something wrong?

You need to touch the textured area on top of the handle to lock the doors. At least, that's how it is on my 5er.

Try using your thumb only.

If you put your hand inside the door handle when trying to lock it then it won't lock but if you just put your finger or thumb on the top of the handle where it's textured then it'll unlock.

Index finger or thumb only on the ridges.

I like to rub the textured spot with my forefinger gently, caressing it like a nipple I am attempting to arouse. Sometimes I break into Isaac Hayes verse as well. Seems to work almost every time.

I do miss the ability to use the rear door to unlock all 4 doors via Comfort Access like on my previous 550! Oh well, I'll use the key or get points for being a gentleman!
