Time for Deliver to Germany

Does anyone have experience with the delivery time from SC to Germany for a US Spec vehicle? I know someone out there has insight.

Thanks!

Not sure, but if you want Euro LEDs that have the anti-dazzle feature, don't buy a US vehicle. If you don't care for that, I'm sure someone will provide that info soon in a few hours .

That would be a nice feature, BUT not worth the cost. $74000 vs 74000 EURO which equates to about $100,000!!!! NO THANKS!!!!! Besides, I am a US Citizen working in Germany and plan to bring the vehicle back to the US.

Ah, yes, definitely not worth that much money. The shipping cost to you from US is cheaper? That's what I was actually basing it on and wasn't sure about. Hopefully, someone has knowledge on your delivery time. Good luck .

If one can work within any holding restrictions then upon departure selling the car in Germany would be rewarding, I would think.

I do not pay for shipping the vehicle to Germany or back to the US. I use the military sales program here in Germany to get the best deal. Just confirmed my vehicle is on the Don Juan and left the port on the 6th of November. According to the web the vessel is scheduled to arrive in Germany on the 19th of November. Not sure of the time from the port to the dealership. I have been told to expect delivery the 1st week of December. I can not wait. I hope we do not have any snow on the ground when it arrives!

Wow, that's awesome! Congrats, buddy! Either way, I hope you get to enjoy your vehicle. It really is one heck of a vehicle.

Based on when mine shipped from SC to the UK, they tend to be pretty conservative with their initial estimates and then gradually bring things forwards as the vehicle gets closer. In the end mine was delivered about 4 weeks earlier then originally quoted.

I just took delivery last month, it will take 3 -4 weeks to get here in Germany from SC, one note tho, the connected drive and BMW apps will not work here for us spec, I am still trying to find a coder that can enable the connected drive and office.

It was about 4 weeks from leaving the plant to getting to my dealer in the UK which is the last stop for the boat on the way back to the US. The 2nd stop is Bremerhaven I think, the first being Zeebrugge.
