You guys are lucky. I just noticed you live in Camarillo. I went to High School there in 1990 for a brief time and really loved the area. I miss the canyon runs in my Dad's 88 Turbo Z back in the day.

We have a whopping one degree here right now, but going up to 15 in the afternoon, whoo! But, much to be thankful for and perfect day to spend inside with family, and watching some football. Happy Thanksgiving everyone!

Golffrr took your advice on my cruise up here from SLO to Monterey yesterday coming up hwy 1, an absolutely monumental day with the new M4. Seemed a few cars going south, but little or knobody heading north, I could drive at whatever pace I set, stopped 2 times for refreshments, low 80's clear no wind.

thats awesome! I love Camarillo, I personally actually live in a small town north of Santa Barbara called Solvang. It gets even warmer then Camarillo believe it or not which I love, perfect for year around golf!

1 degree!! OMG I can't even imagine that, must be brutal. Def stay inside and keep warm mate, lets hope the sports entertainment is a good this year!

Fantastic! I really can't think of any road that rivals the HWY 1 in CA. The views are breath taking. Im so glad you were able to go and also go when the weather was clear and beautiful. Enjoy your time up there and def take 101 home, you should not hit any traffic whatsoever. on your way home from monterey if you are looking for a little secret place that has amazing breakfast hit a place called "first Awakenings" in Salinas. It was really good when we went earlier this year. Have a safe trip my friend

Odds of hitting a good day on hwy 1: 364/365

Glad you had an awesome drive! probably my favorite drive ever. Only the redwoods highway compares, although the odds of sun can be worse.

Think your right! did it years back, all overcast and cold then, this time didn't recognize it at all.
