Got an appointment with Alekshop to get rear camera installed and grills changed. Love the drive and loud engine roar. I came from a E92 335 and this one is in a class of its own.

Great looking color! I was on the fence about SO and ending up chickening out and going the safe route (Silverstone) instead. SO just pops on the F82!

I am up the road from you in San Ramon, so if you ever see some random dude waving at you from a Silverstone M4, it is likely me.

Nice!! I first saw an SO/SO M4 at the dealer before I ordered mine. That convinced me that that was what I wanted. I've had mine a month now and have no regrets at all.

Thanks guys for the appreciation. I myself deliberated on the color choices for over 6 months, before taking a leap of faith

@Jockey : I had to tinker with color saturation levels on D90 to get it to represent the actual color. Default camera settings fail to show case the true color.

@Jim B : Awesome choice as well

@unit : Let's meet up sometime for coffee and ride. I can also do a photoshoot if you are interested, been thinking about treasure island for a while, but maybe there are locations near San Ramon that can add good background.

Absolutely! We just did European Delivery last month, and my car is still on a boat somewhere off the Mexican coast steaming towards Port Heuneme. I should take redelivery in early January, and can PM you thenfor a meet up.

Great looking car. That was my original order (still love it), but switched exterior to AY. Kept the SO interior though, couldn't give that up, looks killer!

Does that mean you passed on the Executive package? Pretty much the only things in that package that I really care about are the parking sensors and backup camera. Would you mind describing your rear camera setup a bit more?

Yes I did pass on Executive package. I had Alekshop install the rear camera, it fits like OEM and has parking lines also. Pretty happy with it so far.
