I love Dakar Yellow as well, but somehow, it doesn't complement F82 body.

Maybe it's just the lighting in the pics, but it seams to understate and hide the car's body lines, and appears ... a bit flat.

Are you sure it's DKY, and not DY2 or some other color?

I remember hearing that DY was discontinued in favor of DKY2 due to the original DKY's relying on lead in the paint (and BMW's subsequent obsession with environmental water-based paints).

Funny how the lines just work better with the louder colour, huh?

Still, though muted, Dakar is pretty snazzy....

MY F82 in AY will be my fourth yellow car (all were previously S2000s). I thought Dakar would be a great color because it is similar to that of the spa yellow on the s2k, but I am in agreement with those above...doesn't really look that great on the F82.
