Batten down the hatches!

I find that no matter how much I try to calm down my driving habits in this car - taking corners at speed is simply too much fun to avoid.

Of course, this means the rear seats on my F80 are almost useless as anything not securely fastened is sure to fly around the cabin.

Just the other day my laptop went flying across the back seat slamming into the other side door - not good for the laptop (or the door).

I guess on the positive side - it will help me keep a tidy car!

Anyone else experience flying debris?

My jack Russell doesn't go to the back seat before I've put the seatbelt on there. Then he crawls under it. I admit I usually on a very bad mood when I start my journey to the dog park.

Poor JR - bouncing around the back seat as Lups hammers the corners

Hahaha, he wants to take a nap whenever we're on the move and after the new exhaust system I banned him from the trunk (poor pup now sleeps under my blanket instead of the garage he prefers) so he started putting his head under the seatbelt. Now he prefers being driven like that when we leave the house. Nothing is as sad as a dog hauling in his sleep whenever danzig is playing, so its me who got the bad deal here.

You should have a protective mat under the seat to both protect the leather and keep the seat from slipping.

Whenever my kids travel in my car, I usually put a towel under their booster seats to help keep them from sliding around...

Today I almost had a VERY bad incident: I was cruising through some particularly awesome winding streets and corners after some high speed maneuvers on the freeway - you know, that adrenaline overrun?

Anyway, there's these two corners - left, then a hard right - on big wide streets so ... I douched it up. I admit it, I couldn't resist. Anyway, I forgot that I had 2 three gallon jugs of water in the trunk and they banged hard twice. I pulled quick into a parking lot and luckily they were intact but one had assumed a position I didn't think possible.

At that moment I learned a VERY important lesson ... I've forgotten what it was now, but it made quite an impression on me.

LOL

Mine is pretty awesome. He is always up for the roads, if tennis balls are in the trunk. he does have poop accidents (rolls on that) which makes me love the damn idiot so much less every time.

Yea I had groceries in the trunk the other day and took a turn too fast. Got home and 1/2 of my dozen eggs were broken. Good thing they stayed in the container and the container stayed in the bag.

You need to tie the plastic bags handles before putting them to the boot. I keep finding food from my trunk all the time which is good since I keep getting lost and hunger happens often to catch me. Yesterday I had a lovely snack of peppers and jalapenos in the dog park, so I'd say the car is taking care of its owner.

I don't get you guys! I don't even have my M yet, but when I do grocery day, I just DON'T do corners hard for that 5-10min going home. Now maybe the M will have some mystical power that possesses the driver?? (is there a button for that too?), and turns you evil as soon as you press Start, but geez... hahahaha.

here's the translated short version:

* Due to douchy driving I almost spilled 6 gallons of water in my trunk
* I shouldn't have been driving douchy in the first place
* I learned nothing and will drive douchy again

Saddle up bruthas and sistas - for tonight ... we ride!
