What is the plus symbol on the POI

It is the symbol for diesel fuel is at the fuel station

Not sure, I checked out one station and had diesel but no plus symbol.

All our service stations over here have diesel but only about half show the plus symbol - so that can't be it.

Not sure...wouldn't top tier be for gas companies as a whole (Shell, Chevron, etc) rather than specific gas stations (Shell # 3, Chevron #7, etc)? You see three Shells together but only one of them has the "plus" sign. It could be based off of user ratings or some other survey system that BMW goes off of in regards to gas quality

When I use the Gas Buddy app, it does not designate all Shell stations near me as Top Tier. I have seen other examples of that on the open road but cannot much detail at the moment.
