Smile iDrive Thinks My California Town is in Canada

It thinks I am in B.C. Must have Canada and CA mixed up.

My 5 year old Garmin works better than the BMW Nav. The maps are incomplete and the routing logic creates weird and out of the way routes??? I am so unimpressed with it.

You should contact Inrix and tell them what is wrong, and they may fix it. They did for me. I just filled out the online form on their website for reporting problems with their mobile apps, since they have none for automotive clients (they do Ford, Volvo, Porsche, BMW, ......), and they responded very promptly. Very responsive help desk. Inrix thread.

MattBianco What does the nav map show your location as? Is it your weather widget that's 'confused'?

Everything else is accurate. This has to be a fail in the database of city, state/province, country linked to the SIM card.

That's crazy... I'm just up the 101 from you and haven't received any Canadian destinations quite yet.

I think you are right.

There is this small seaside town called San Francisco (and the surrounding bay area) that I think we annexed.

The rest is definitely Canada.
