UK - Time to swap Winters for Summers?

One for those on this side of the NATL: Pondering when to swap over my 19" Winters to 20" Performance tyres and alloys.
Seems that the worst of the British winter is over so is now the time to do it?

Never had winter/summer tyres before so all opinions welcome

It is all about the ambient temperature. If the average temperature is >7C then it is time to switch. Are you doing the switch yourself or taking it to a shop?

Thanks. Good point about the ambient. Taking to a local tyre shop or my dealer...both are FOC

Wingco Glad I don't live in Suffolk (no offence!)

JOHNBMWM5 Good to know - have booked it in for next week - of course once I've done the deed we are bound to have freezing rain and snow!
