E93 roof tonneau issue

When the roof goes down here are two corner flaps That move to allow the roof to open and close and then when fully open should lay flat. Pic will help:

After having roof adjusted, the issue above starting happening. Told dealer and they replaced the pieces.

Well it now randomly sticks up. Anyone else have this and find a solution?

It did happen one time last year. I never tried to push it down, just closed the roof promptly and open it back again without any issues. It has never surfaced again and I do use the vert with the top down regularly.

Why did the dealer replaced the flap? Was it worn out or had any visible damage?

I hope it gets corrected for you!

I also use Gummy Plege over my door and window sills as well on the rubber surfaces of the roof panels once every six months.

Enjoy your vert!

After I had the top realigned its started happening, took it in to be fixed and to have some other work done, it still would happen. On second attempt tech said "tolerances between two flaps to close, so he removed and replaced the side linkage flap. It now happens 50% of the time.

I'm assuming the realignment job fixed your original issue. Perhaps it is incorrect and now you have this issue. Ask them to realigne it again.

On another note, I see you drove a Z4M. I've got a friend with one and he is debating a new exhaust. Did you ever do any mods or do you have any recommendations?

Thanks!

No modes ti the Z4M, I traded it in on the M3 because it was to low to the ground and cramped for me (6' 1", 230 at the time).
