WTT: Trophy rotor hats for black ST rotor hats

I just ordered a StopTech Trophy BBK that should arrive next week. There's only one problem: I prefer black rotor hats to the champagne ones that come with the Trophy kits:



To that end, I'm looking for someone who is willing to trade a new/good condition set of black rotor hats that come on the "regular" StopTech kits for my brand-new champagne-colored "Trophy" hats.

Swapping the hats appears to be very straightforward provided you have a torque wrench. Here is a DIY on the subject:

I'm disappointed...so you just quit so easily? Paint them bitches with some high temp paint. The black ones still turn champagne over time.

Yeah, the hats on my E90/ST60 kit have turned. Not sure if they are anodized...def not powder coated.

So if you track your car...probably not worth the time swapping to black hats.

Thanks for the heads up. I would have expected more color shift from the champagne hats than from the black ones. I guess that's why the Trophy ones come the way they come. Looks like I will be sticking with them.

Mine are still black. But aren't they a downgrade in terms of Cooling and materials?

That's the million-dollar question. I had thought they were different, but StopTech seemed to say they were the same.
