In some cases, the black wheels look a little better close up, but the silvers always look better from a distance. JMHO

My black 437m's look much more interesting and sophisticated while clean. When they become dirty they can have a slightly cheaper "plasti dipped" look.
So I vote for black if you can keep them clean, and silver if you do not. Obviously I chose black wheels on my AY car, but YMB seems to look sexy no matter what! Full disclosure, I just freakin love the 437m design, so I may be biased! No plans whatsoever for aftermarket wheels. I am just thrilled I can get them as stock and not have to deal with aftermarket parts. |

If you go with black, I think the black side markers and black kidney grills make the car. If you do black with silver markers and silver kidney grills, I think they lose impact. So all silver (elegant - tasteful - understated) or all black (sporty).

I'd have to say after looking at a lot of YMB (thought about switching my MW for it) that the black treatment is the only good way to pull the colour off, grille, markers, diffusers, etc. IMHO of course

I started a thread of these 2 specific colors (Mineral White or Yas Marina Blue....what a DILEMMA) and some decent feedback was given, might be worth a read. Here's the link http://f80.bimmerpost.com/forums/sho....php?t=1122393
