Spongey brake pedal

After installing my AP bbk I bled all the brakes with racing fluid. They felt a bit spongey so I asked my dealer to sort them for me - the pedal is still spongey. Brakes work well, well enough to lock front wheels if needed but the spongey pedal is frustrating.

I'd say there is at least an inch to two inch of travel before I can feel any real reaction out of the pedal whereas before and with my friends car on AP the pedal is very positive and reacts immediately with little pressure.

Any thoughts? Fixes?

When you replace brake lines and calipers, it introduces a lot of air in the system. You need to bleed many many times. It may take up to 3 liters of brake fluid or even more to remove all of the air from the brake system.

Use vacuum bleeder. Had same problem when I put Stoptechs on a friend's 997.2 GT3RS.

You need DIS or INPA to do a full bleed, you need to activate the abs pump to really get all the air out esp after a caliper change.. I would think the dealer would do this but those techs are lazy people.. Each caliper needs the abs to be activated

Do the APs have two bleeder screws per caliper? This happened to someone on another forum -- they didn't realize there was another bleeder on each caliper.
