New Member, New M3 driver

Hello all, My name is John, currently reside in the horrible city of New Orleans and just recently purchased a well cared for 2008 M3 Convertible, with only 46k on the odometer! Must say that this thing is a joy to drive and a great upgrade from my 328i that I had.

So far my only complaint is how fast a tank of gas disappears!

Looking forward to getting some great ideas for mods, as the previous owner left this beauty completely stock...

The sunset shining through the windshield in your second pic is actually the same heaven's light that shines on every M3....these are amazing cars. Welcome to the family!

Sun on top, darkness on the bottom where the rod bearings reside lol

Congrats! Nice to see more e93's popping up. 328's (n52) got horrible mpg, even worse than my 335 but definitely nothing compared to the M3. But it more than makes up for it in terms of driving pleasure! Enjoy!

Yep, bearings are the dark side of the S65

Great to see someone else from Louisiana here. Do you plan to do any track driving? The NOLA Motorsports facility is awesome, and there was a E93 driving at an open track day last time I was there - apparently the factory rollover protection is sufficient.

Ha! Yes I said that! Im just not a fan, maybe a great place to visit, but living here that's another story... If I didn't have to be here for work I would move today.

With that said, the city is starting to grow on me a little, who knows maybe by the time I have to leave here I might like it.
