USA bound X5 'at the port awaiting shipping vessel'???

This is the status I got from the robot on the end of the 800 number. I really hope that she is wrong and they will not put my X5 on a 'shipping vessel'.

The website shows 'finishing touches'.

Anyone had this happen to them?

My online order tracking doesn't work at all.
Using the 800 number, " your car was released to a carrier and awaiting transportation to port of exit"
Not sure what that means either

From my experience with the production of my 2015 X5M is that this is the same from what I heard from the automated line.

My thought is then that this is a standard "stock" message that is used for all cars manufactured whether here in the US or in Germany.

So this means it is still waiting to be shipped tor the Vehicle Prep Center?

Sea transport - if it happens at all - is between assembly plant and VPC, correct?

BTW shame on BMW for their shabby IT. How hard would it be to get this right?
