2014 x5 50i 0-60

Hi guys,

I'm wondering why the 2015 x5 50i is 0.2 sec faster than the 2014 model (4.7 vs 4.9 sec). The horsepower is the same.

4.9 is the current 0-62mph time = 0-100kmh
I've seen a data sheet with incorrect numbers floating around this forum.

Edit:
I´m getting really annoyed at this. No consistency anywhere.
Looking at BMW.com it says 5.0 secs 0-100kmh for the 2015 X5 50. German, Swedish and UK websites claim 4.9secs 0-100kmh for the same model.

So there is no actual 0-60 improvement over 2014 model? Just a typo in the spec sheet?

There was a transmission update netting the slight performance increase for every model F15. I believe it was included in the October 2014 build (2015MY) X5s

^ Correct. BMW Press release confirmed this for US cars, including the transmission update and improved 0-60 times: https://www.press.bmwgroup.com/usa/p...tem=node__4101

Also, the PDF of the release in case BMW removes the old press releases: 140604_BMW_2015_Model_Year_Update_information.pdf
