BSM Interior Color Choice: help needed
I really want the black interior but:
1. pple say it gets hot(ter) in summer 2. with black exterior may look too much black.... no contrast 3. I've had a black interior for the last 8 years (my current 3er) So, I am thinking SO. With SO however my concern is its long term durability b/c I cant be cleaning my car on weekly basis. I also don't like how SO looks from outside (when you look into the car through windshield). does it not get hot as black? what other choices do you see to go with BSM? |

I had the same dilemma, and here's what I came up with:
-Black - nice, but ultimately too much black and I like the pop of color in the car. -Silverstone - my first choice but too much maintenance (topic/picts on forum re: this). -Sakhir Orange - I've had Jet Black/Fox Red, and so this color is something I like. Great contrast look from outside. That said, if you like black, why fight it? Your gut choice is usually the right one and the black has that beautiful white deviated stitching I think in "Full" - awesome. |

I have a BSM vert with SB interior. Looks great, but if I was to do it over again it would be SO after seeing it in person a number of times.

Get the black. The first thing you said was you liked a black interior. Black interiors being too hot or too plain are small concerns that are reserved for people who don't want black interiors. You can find issues with any color as it's all subjective. You have had a black interior for 8 years. You know exactly how hot it is (not much more) compared to other interiors. As for boring, I like the clean and ageless look of black. It's AW for the interior.

If you are getting BSM keeping the interior clean will be the least of your problems.
I got the BSM/SO and I like it a lot. But, you are not that far from me so don't get it! I want to be unique |

I prefer black. It's definitely more durable than any other choice, and the issues of black on black are over exaggerated as far as summer heat goes. BMW air conditioning systems are top notch and cool things down pretty quickly.
With that said, BSM looks great with any of the available interior options. |

SO is the clear winner.. Otherwise golden brown or amaro.
