Hearing a knocking noise while parked on idle?!!

2008 e92 m3, 62k miles, very faint knocking noise from under the hood, seems to still drive fine, never heard it before.. Any suggestions?!!

Flywheel chatter. While "parked" in neutral, depress the clutch pedal to see if the sound goes away. If it does, it's just flywheel chatter.
