Garage List
X5 comes standard with all must have but there are many toys that I would consider must have like

* 3rd row (if you have kids, nice to be able to fit them and friends)
* m sport (if you like a sporty look)
* dhp (if you frequently take corners/turns at speeds you shouldn't)
* extended bluetooth usb (for better phone functions--can't believe this is not standard in usa)
* hk audio (stock stereo is ok for non music radio. need hk for music)

DHP
Multi contour seats
20" or greater wheels (19's too skinny even if you don't mind the smaller diameter).

Let's say if you only have $4,000. What would you pick? Also in terms of resale value.

Although HUD is great, as well as getting a much nicer looking instrument cluster, I wouldn't consider it a must have.

Leather
Driver Assistance Package
Premium Package
M Sport
20" 469 wheels
Harman Kardon sound

What do you guys think about the $1450 leather option? Senatac seems to have a good review.

I would get the leather. We have black sensatec in my wife's 328i, and I found it doesn't breathe as well as my dad's Dakota leather. In the summer I get a sweaty back with the sensatec compared to Dakota leather.

Is the sensatec on X5 any different from the one on 3 series? I guess it could be less a concern in MA where the summer is short.

I believe they are the same materials. I'm from California, San Francisco Bay Area where there's not really summer, and even on a regular, not really hot day, my back would still get sweaty.

No problem. Glad to help. If you are getting leather already, you might as well get the premium package so you get comfort access as well. Leather is included in the premium package.

If I could choose 1 option it would be the LED headlights!!!! It makes a world of a difference compared to HID lights.
