Is anyone running 15 (F) x 18 (R) spacers on a lowered car?
I'll be installing the swift springs on my car in the next few weeks once they begin shipping and will also be adding spacers. But which ones?
I know everyone recommends 15 in the front and 12 in the rear but I want to see what 18mm looks like in the rear on a lowered car. I can't seem to find pictures of that setup. If not 18mm in the rear, I'm also curious what 15mm all around looks like on a lowered car (I've only seen it on stock springs). I'd prefer to keep the wheel spacing ratios similar to stock if possible and while I'd like a flush look, I care more about handling characteristics. PLEASE BRING PICTURES! |

I've been running 15/12 and I'm lowered on KW HAS for about 3 weeks now. I just ordered different wheels though with a better offset so won't be running spacers any longer...i loved the 15/12 setup. I think its possible to go 15/15 but you may get a little rub here under load.

I've seen cars with 18mm spacers all around and lowering springs that didn't rub. 18mm is about as wide as you can go on the stock wheel/tire combo either front or rear without rubbing.

One more thing to keep in mind. If 15mm front / 12 mm rear is perfectly flushed for the M4, then 15mm all the way around might be better for the M3; as the M3 rear fenders are 3.5mm wider on each side compared to the M4.
