New M3 E92 Sydney Owner
Hi Guys,
I have stalked the forums for a while. Especially prior to purchase. Thanks for all the great content. Such a great community and hope to contribute. Purchased the angry beast in May 15. 2008 Jerez Black MT - with 62k on the clock. Very happy with the car. Can't wait to join in on a few drives etc. I am looking at a tune and catback bypass. There's a place near me - International Autohaus. He specialises in Evotech dyno tunes. Has anyone heard or used him? Last edited by mr2600; 08-20-2015 at 05:15 AM.. |

Welcome and congrats.
The 6mt is great fun. Have a look at M3 World's website. Some of us have purchased test pipes and stage 2 BPM tune thru Dave Dee. Kind regards Phil |

Would be difficult not to pass up davedee's services for an exhaust and tune, if you want someone local in Sydney to do it all I highly recommend advan performance also!

Welcome to an ownership group of a very special vehicle. In an era of turbo hybrids with the engine note running through the stereo, our screaming V8 will be a classic for sure!

Welcome.. Don't think there is much out there that's so well balanced and has so much potential as our M3s, a monster on the track and a limo on the way home Welcome to a car that never disappoints and always makes you smile when you come back to it |

Hey Guys,
Sorry for not replying for so long. A bit of a back story - I received one of Australias first of its kind double lung transplants back in January 2015. The M3 was a gift to myself for surviving and making it through. Soon after this post - I experienced minor rejection. Thankfully I am back on my feet and ready to get back into my car! (Barely driven the machine). Thanks to all the comments and feedback - I am very keen on ordering the pipes from DaveDee - I will be getting in touch soon. I also am looking at purchasing some oil and also researching tunes a bit more. I must say this community is awesome and so much valuable information. Thanks |

Health, Family, M3.... in that order. Without your health you can't look after your family. Without your family, you can't get all the Mods to your M3 approved.
As a newbie, trawl the forum for any questions you may have about your amazing "gift to yourself". Just about anything that you'd wanna do to your car has already been tried and tested on this forum. It's an incredible reference point. And don't be afraid to post a question. Lastly, if you can, book yourself a track day..... Owning our cars to only drive the streets is like buying a Macbook Pro to only read emails. |

Thanks a lot guys,
Health, family, m3 does sound like a good order hahaha I also own an Evolution 8 MR - I have had it for about 6 years and kept it totally stock - I know how slippery modding can be. I am keen to have a Sydney meet up some time - there is a gunmetal m3 in my building in Waterloo - though I can never find the owner :S |
