Shift Sector Coalinga

Anyone going to this event this year? I'll be there with the Gintani crew. They are taking their twin turbo e90. Getting my headers installed and retune this week. Thinking about dropping a smaller pulley and running race gas so I can keep up with everyone lol. Hope its a good turnout!

I will be there along with a few other forum regulars. Is this your first time going? It's a fun event.

The Gintani E90 Twin/Turbo ? Thought that project was only a fairytale and that they had too much troubles with the heat of the turbos ?

Someone want to take me with them? My car isn't fast enough to run but I'd love to watch.

I'll be there. Signed up for the exotic class with my TTS. I have a lot of work cut out for me to be able to beat the Veyron and P1 signed up. My car is at BBI for some weight reduction and then off to GIAC with a prototype fuel system. Class rules are strict bolt ons only stock turbo no nitrous. I need to find another 100 HP out of the stock turbos to have a shot.

Wow I didn't know they we're going to have a P1 there. That should be awesome. Stoked to see your TTS run, that car is next on my list

Sweet! I've been once before but only as a spectator. Looking forward to running my car to see how it does. What car are you taking?

They actually just completed their second kit! Don't know who the owner is but they are shipping it back to the east coast so hopefully we'll hear from them. If they don't take the twin turbo e90, they are going to be taking the twin turbo e60 m6. Either way should be pretty cool! Too bad you are all the way in europe eh?

Curious to see the videos on here of the event with the twin turbos .
Yeah...Sadly we are not neighbors , because I would love to see Shift Sector in person .

Not sure if it's the P1 I know, but that guy is taking his 812hp F12 and I think his 650S too. F12 for sure though, and wouldn't be surprised if it's his P1 on the list.

Yeah all three are on the list. That guy must be doing something right.

Do you know what mods are on his F12 to give him over 800 HP? I ran a stock one at NoFlyZone and put 6-7 cars on it from a 40mph roll. But a 800 HP version could be a nice race.

Bro at shift sector my car is a slug! Thankfully the airstrip is very dusty and shift sector put in a "tree" so everyone races from a dig and every car has a major challenge launching (except me lol) so I usually can build a large enough lead to win most races despite a massive disadvantage on horsepower.

Just dropped off my car at Gintani, changing my fuel system and tuning for e85 along with the install of ARH headers, curious to see the outcome! Lets see a pic of that TTS so I know what to look for as well

Wow you must be the first full e85 fuel system and tune. Hope it works out for you as I was contemplating that but just did the cheaper 5 gallon water/ice tank instead. I'm doing the NoFlyZone AZ event Oct 3&4 in 100 degree heat with the M3 so the extra intercooler capacity should help dramatically. e85 would get the job done as well for sure.

Here's a pic of my TTS in action at Shift Sector:

Nope. Definitely reality. Seen it in person. Car's stupid fast. A painful conversion, but nothing producing those numbers are on the market.

Yea after meeting with Alex yesterday we are going to give it a shot. Being the first one, wondering what the outcome will be. Keeping the meth to keep the IAT temperatures down also. Car is beautiful man, is it stick or PDK?

If you do e85 you probably don't need meth since the combustion temps from ethanol are dramatically lower you can literally hit max timing targets even with very hot intake air.

Thx it's a 2011 TTS and it only came in PDK. It's silly fast from a launch. At BBI right now getting some interior work/weight reduction
