Struggling to choose a color :(
Before I begin, I'm not asking for you to tell me which color to choose, I need opinions from those who've seen the color in person or word of mouth.
I'm sold on the color blue, I love blue <3. However, I'm struggling to choose between 3 beautiful colors on the M4. Yas Marina Blue Laguna Seca Blue Atlantis Blue I've looked them up and I've seen a few pictures of these colors. Yas Marina seems to look real nice when it's dark/shady outside but it looks kinda "faded" to me. Laguna Seca Blue looks gorgeous and bright and there's something about it that makes me melt. I have looked into San Marino Blue but it's too dark for my taste, but I love the metallic reflection it offers which is why I like the Atlantis blue, it provides the similar color as LSB and the metallic feel to it but I have not seen LSB/AB in person to make this decision. I have seen YMB in person. As far as interior if some ask, Sakhir Orange (Superman Combo!) Also, if this has been posted, please forgive me :< Last edited by s0ul; 09-09-2015 at 06:05 PM.. |

They're all great choices. Depending on which model you're getting M3 or M4. I tend to visualize some colors on coupes, but will never get them on a sedan, and vise versa.
YBM is awesome, that's the color I chose on my M3. LSB is nice, but I think it's to close to YMB to compensate the $5k price for it, and I normally associate LSB with the E46. Atlantis blue I have not seen in person, so I can not give you feedback on that one. Long beach blue is nice, but I just don't know how well it would be with SO interior. The paint looks very rich and glossy, which I maybe able to see it on the coupe not the sedan. Just my $0.02 |

I cannot find an image of a Long Beach Blue Metallic M4, so it's very hard for me to imagine.
After referring to this, there doesn't seem to be one. http://f80.bimmerpost.com/forums/sho...d.php?t=953954 |

So you made a post asking for thoughts and opinions from people who have seen the colors in person but made your decision in less than 24 hours?
Have you really decided or are you just saying those photos have you sold but you still haven't decided officially. I don't know how much searching you have done, but Laguna Seca has been done on the M4 as you can see. Atlantis Blue has been done on the M3. If it were me, I would want something no one else has and that would be the Atlantis M4. To my knowledge there is only one in the world and it is an M3 not an M4. I loved Laguna Seca on the E46, but like Yas Marina it has a sort of pastel/cream look to it which IMO isn't as nice as the metallic burst you get out of Atlantis or San Marino blue. Here you will see all three of these blues together and then Atlantis in different lighting http://f80.bimmerpost.com/forums/sho....php?t=1154045 |

If your gut is saying LSB then go for it. I personally wouldn't hesitate with Atlantis because you would be the first M4 with it and the fact that it's metallic, with a similar chameleon like effect as sakhir (both of which drastically change depending on lighting) https://instagram.com/p/6dBdWoKBqU/?taken-by=m3nahrich |

Lol at the quick decision. My choice out of all of them is Atlantis. Long Beach Blue is close to Atlantis, but some members said they got rejected from choosing Long Beach Blue by BMW Individual. This is probably due to Long Beach being the feature color for the upcoming M2.
Laguna Seca Blue never did it for me; looks like the rejected crayon color in the Crayola box. But then again, I've never liked Dakar yellow either so what do I know. |
