Need help with odd whistling sound
My car recently developed an odd whistling sound.
Basically there will be a whistling noise when i accelerate from a stop up to around 3k RPM. I can also get the noise to happen if i just tap the accelerator while the car is stationary. Here is a video of me basically tapping the gas pedal so the car is revving between idle to around 2.5k RPM I've had a similar whistling sound in previous cars where the noise is coming from an aftermarket air filter but that's not the case this time. Here are the things i've determined so far - Noise is tied to depressing the accelerator. Happens whether car is stationary or moving. Noise happens between 0-3000 RPM Happens whether i'm in gear or neutral I've attached a picture of my engine bay - At first I thought the noise was from the air filter so i removed it, noise is still there Then I removed the piece that connects to the filter, noise is still there Then I removed the tube that attaches to the elbow, noise is still there Then I removed the elbow, noise is still there Basically I removed all the pieces circled in YELLOW and the noise is still there. As far as I can tell the noise is coming from around the area that I circled in RED. If anyone has any ideas on where the noise is coming from please let me know. Thanks!

Sounds like a sucking air noise to me, and I can hear it very clear , and so probably you have somewhere between the air filter and intake a whistling sucking air leak .
EDIT: By sucking I mean I can hear it sucking air .

I removed the whole "air intake" section as indicated in my photo so it's none of those parts. Could it be the throttle body clamps coming loose?

You might need to remove the plenum to find the noise.

Op, After you removed everything, did you check for any cracks or warps?
Also try to re-adjust the plenum and tighten it back up! Make another video, but this time showing the engine bay |

I THINK the sound is getting louder so that's not good. No engine lights, loss of power or any noticeable affects on performance so far. Idling is fine too. I think the noise is coming from that area i circled in red but it's really tricky with noise. A lot of times i've thought a noise was coming from one area but it was actually from a completely different area.
