Sun visor not visoring enough

Why couldn't BMW make it a bit longer to cover the huge gap it leaves on the left side? Not fun driving 45 minutes trying to dodge this:

This is what helps me and I never need to use the visor.

Don't forget to buy non-polarized lenses to ensure HUD compatibility.

@hyde , you should try 2/3/4/5/6 series. The visor doesn't extend and the sun will hit you from the sides and nothing you can do.

I am/was wearing sunglasses, it really doesn't help when the sun is hitting right at you through that little spot, try wearing yours and look straight at sun. Maybe I can prop a magazine there with some electrical tape, that will work. It's not too much to ask for a sunvisor to cover the area properly. I don't remember having this issue with E70.

What does looking straight at the sun have anything to do with this? Anyway, get a pair of sunglasses that protect the side. Solved.

^^ Haha...+1 for the full-face...kidding! I hate using the visors, since I almost always have business receipts stored up there.

My visor covers that gap. You do realize that the visor telescopes?
