Finally placed an order

I'm upgrading from an X3 20d, with 2 kids and another one on the way the X3 is way too small for our family.

Wife loved the X5 because it feels familiar yet much more luxurious and it's pretty wide meaning we can fit 3 car seats on the rear seat.

We went for the X5 30d with the following options:

• Black Sapphire metallic
• BMW Individual extended leather in Amaro brown
• M Sport w/ 469 20" wheels
• Digital instrument display
• Connected Drive Freedom
• Panorama glass roof
• Sun protection glazing
• Seat heating front seats
• Driving assistant plus
• Roller sun blind for rear windows
• BMW individual interior trim piano black
• Harman Kardon sound system

Delivery will be Dec/Jan... already looking at aftermarket wheels. I'm in love with the Hamman look, but will consider gold Vossen VPS-304 wheels too:

Congrats, I also just placed an order for a 2016. My wife also preferred the feel of the X5 ride over the X3 which is firmer. My 1st mod is to install 3M clear protection for the front and maybe some pedals.

Will do the same @bootleg gucci first stop once delivered will be with my detailer for an opti-coat or similar treatment.

A bit worried about the maintenance involving a black car... I hope I don't regret it!

You may not be aware that from August build, OZ f15's have connected Drive services and DAB tuner as standard

Oh that's great news!

I was going to tick the DAB box but decided not to. Do you know if i need to order it even though it might be $0 or it comes as default?

Also i ordered Driving Assistant Plus, is Traffic Queue available in OZ?

No need to order DAB its now standard, as for the Traffic, like you, i can't find any reference in any Australian literature that it's included.

But that does not mean it isn't.

My salesman is reasonably well informed, I pick up my new F15 this Saturday I'll ask for you.

30d Msport with roof, almost embarrassed to say , Alpine white!!

Will be my 4th X5.

E53, E70. E70lci, and now F15.
