BMW HUD

I think BMW needs to advertise this more...the HUD with the NAV is freaking outstanding, I love this thing.

Maybe everyone else has pretty much the same thing?

Is that possible with coding? It would be nice.

Nope, can't be coded. It is hardware related AFAIK.

It changes, for the better, how you drive. I really love it too.

It is in color. If you are not seeing it there may be something wrong.

I've never used cruise control or lane departure yet in my car.. Does it show up like that in green and orange? Also I never recall seeing the highway sign show up either..

That's not mine. I found it on google images. I don't have the advanced version with speed limit info.

You have to code the lane departure to show up in the hud. I personally find lane departure warning annoying as hell and have it shut off altogether. Of course, i rarely use my turn signal when changing lanes in city traffic, so thats probably why i find it so annoying...

Cruise shows up in green only when active.

I agree, HUD is one of my favorite features. Driving a car without it feels broken.

Mine (X5) is definitely color, the highway graphics depends on the type of highway.

Mine has color as well. And the HUD is one of the factor that I go for the X5 but not the Mercedes GLE Coupe.

Great feature at night. However, not very helpful during the day if you wear polarized sunglasses :/.

Can the HUD be adjusted side ways? i.e. move left or right? I know it can be adjusted for inclination through options. The reason I am asking is, I feel the HUD image on my windshield is more aligned towards my left rather than center.
Any thoughts?

Sorry, If I wasn't clear.

Guys, I'm all For it, and I also have it in my X5, but to be honest, it never became a must have thing for me and I never got used to it...it's certainly a cool gadget but I still look at my speedometer and navigation system and can easily drive without it...but that's just me I guess.
