Bought my first BMW (e92 m3) after 2000KM noticing sound that wasnt there before[Vid]
Hey guys new member here, long time lurker. So about 2 months ago purchased an 08 e92 m3 dct. Car came with 68,600 KM on it and since then Ive driven about 2,000 KM
Yesterday when getting out of my car to go open the garage (didnt have garage opener on me) I noticed this weird sound coming what it looks like from behind the driver side wheel and passenger side wheel an annoying like rattling / dinging sound (Best heard in the video from 0:04 sec to 0:09) (was revving it to see if I could hear a knocking sound thinking maybe its the rod bearings lol.. i hope not) Should I be concerned? I wont be able to bring it to a shop until thursday to take a look at it. Other then that, I love the car. The Eisenmann Race exhaust is insane. Can't wait to do some more mods to it. Thank you! It's hard to describe the noise I'm hearing that I haven't heard before but good news it's nothing. Thanks for replying. |

Your S65 sounds healthy , no ticking or rattle noises and so nothing bearing related .
BTW...Welcome and congrats with your car , and actually she's ready for the redline.
