Exclamation Heads up - $3,000 rebates available for X5's

I ordered a X5 on October 30th, but this was contingent upon the $1500 option rebate to continue on when it arrives sometime in November. The previous $1500 option rebate expired on November 2nd.

However, my manager thought BMWNA would continue offering this, plus more. He was right!

Here's what the website has now:

"$1,500 Loyalty Cash is a credit against the MSRP of the loan on a X5 xDrive35i. $1,500 Loyalty Cash available for returning BMW customers only. $1,500 Option Credit also available on BMW X5 xDrive35i."

That's $3,000 off your negotiated price people! This also seems to be for retail purchases, I don't see this listed under leases.

I need to change up my car turnaround to around late fall / winter time because it seems that you get more incentives to get a new car!

Loyalty rules have changed here in Canada as of this year...we used to get that $1,500 on finance (and probably lease) before...but now they only offer $1,500 cashback if you are buying in cash!
on a finance deal you get 0.75% off the interest rate whatever it is at the time of delivery. a backward step I guess!

^^^This is true

I wonder how the program is for this month in Canada. I am expecting some sort of rebate on "remaining" 2015s

Wonder if the dealer can add the loyalty discount to my deal when I go to finalize the purchase. I put a deposit down two weeks ago and the X5 is built waiting for us to pick up at the Performance Center.

Good incentive for sure. Typical to move non-current MY inventory as they make way for the 2016's, etc... I've got my daily driver purchase timed for Sept/Oct, which is perfect for negotiating on this 'aged' inventory. When leasing though, taking a 2015 while 2016's are available will hurt your residual. Especially if you take delivery in 2016.

Your sale date is the day you sign papers to take it home. You should get any offers that are available that day.

My dealer just confirmed that the new "Loyalty Cash" incentive of $1,500 is available "for returning BMW customers only" as long as the buyer takes delivery by November 30, 2015. This incentive is on top of the "Option Credit" incentive of $1,500 which was set to expire on November 2, 2015, but was extended by BMW.

I ordered my 2016 X5 50i on October 31, 2015, with a projected build date beginning on November 8, 2015, so hopefully it will be delivered by November 30th.

EDIT: Sorry everyone, I just repeated what danman5666 said in his opening post on this thread. That is what I get for not reading everyone's post carefully...

Does this incentive apply for people that go with BMWFS only? I paid off my loan (BMFW) last month, would I be considered as BMW returning customer still? Also, if I go with my own bank (since they are giving a better rate than BMWFS) can I take use of this incentive? I'm going to pick up my X5 this weekend. I havent signed any papers yet other than put down a deposit for a custom build. Can anyone chime in on my questions pls?

Great question - I don't know the answer to this yet in relation to financing with BMWFS. My preference is to finance through my Credit Union.

My CA is off today but he's confirming the additional credit tomorrow. I would assume any individual with an existing BMW can take part of this offer.

With my previous car I had a similar circumstance as BMW offered more incentives before I picked the car up and my CA gave me those incentives/rebates. At that time what he said was when you put the order in you are locked in to the incentives at that time, but you can always change it if a new incentive is better or advantages to you on the day you sign.

I asked my CA today when I saw this post and he says the car is already discounted as much as they can and he said he cant give it, so tomorrow I will talk to the sales manager and see.

I emailed the sales manager this morning and in the afternoon my CA confirmed that I will get the $1500 credit. He also confirmed that I dont need to go through BMWFS to get this. I will be picking my car tomorrow and will update if anything changes.

My dealer is telling me that I must go through BMW Financial Services to get this Loyalty Credit incentive. BMW FS is offering only a 2.9% rate whereas I have a rate through my bank of 1.89%. Anyone have any more definitive information and some authority I can point my dealer to about this incentive?

He did not state that. I will confirm again tomorrow, because I'm bringing my own financing.

Just spoke to my dealer again. The dealer confirmed that the Loyalty Cash incentive is only available if you finance through BMW Financial Services. The total interest paid at BMW FS loan rate is about the same as the $1,500 credit. I decided to stay with my lower interest rate and forego the Loyalty Cash incentive.

It does say in the fine print on the X5 Special Order page under the Financing Offer tab "$1500 Loyalty Cash is a credit against the MSRP of the loan on a X5 xDrive35i."

This text does not appear under the Lease Offer tab leading me to think that it does only apply if you finance the purchase though not clear if financing has to be BMWFS or any bank that the dealer might work with.

Now I get it. Couldn't figure out why I was being offered such a huge discount on my order. Dealer went from $1200 under invoice to $3000 under invoice overnight with no negotiation.

Just signed the papers couple hours back, my SA was wrong and the $1500 incentive is ONLY if you go with BMWFS. I had a feeling that was the case as others have mentioned here so I knew what to expect. Pretty darn thrilled about the car.
