hood fitment issue on the F15

I've noticed this since the ownership of the car actually and noticed that there seems to be a slight gap between the hood and the fenders (like in milimeters), it's very subtle but definitely doesn't look like it's flush. I've compared it to other space gray F15's and those seem pretty flush where the sides of the hood and the fenders meet. gives off the look that the hood is slightly raised when looking at it, I think the color space gray also pronounces this, say compared to white or black exterior. take a look at the pics.

I took it to the dealer and told the service advisor about it and noted passenger side of the hood seems a bit raised, driver's side looked fine but after they adjusted something now the driver's side looks kinda raised also lol. service report said they adjusted the hood release and the hood bump stop screws.

Wouldn't this be a specialist job? Meaning the companies that repair cars after small incidents etc. They do this every day, day in day out.

I have to take a closer look at the car of the one who must be obeyed. As a whole, the panels are not as well aligned as say, a Lexus. If you feel it is off, especially to the touch, make a mention. Every door has an alignment mechanism and they should be able to make the necessary alignments for you at the dealer.

I had this same issue on my e92 (they were notorious for hood misalignment) and I ended up fussing with the bump stops myself in my garage for about 30 minutes to get it perfect.

I suggest fussing with it yourself

are the bump stops the rubber knobs that are on each side next to the headlight? is there other things that I can adjust other than that?

Yes, you need to turn those. There's nothing else I know of but you will see a quick change when you turn them slightly and shut the hood, be prepared to shut and reopen the hood a few hundred times if you're as fussy as me.
