E92 with a light color like AW with the carbon roof is stunning. Nice find. Congrats and welcome.

Congratulations on your new M car! Alpine White is a gorgeous color, but what makes it really pop is a full paint correction. Not sure if you are familiar with detailing procedures, but take a look here on our detailing forum for an example: http://www.m3post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1176096
When I purchase any vehicle it goes directly from the dealer floor to my detailer for full paint correction. Most recently, he corrected my 911 C4S, it took 9 hours just for the correction, so cars do not come from the factory in perfect shape! In the thread that I sent to you, they coat the car with Modesta, this is perhaps the most pricey product in its class, but well worth the trouble and expense. my detailer performs a machine polish on the wheels, inner barrel and outside of the wheel prior to applying Modesta. Net result is cleaner wheels for longer with less hassle when you do clean them. Another great item is a foam cannon, using one is simple and you car just comes out cleaner. I've attached some images for you to see the results, post operatively, of his work. I am sure you will be able to find a reputable individual in the PNW to do this work for you. I stress "reputable" as you really want someone with a legitimate business who takes pride in his work. The good ones get a lot of referrals by word of mouth. Here are the images, one is of a caliper, machine polished and followed up with Modesta coating, and one of a recent detail, full correction and Modesta coated. The images do not do any justice to the work performed, the paint surface on the 911 looks like glass, you can literally see yourself in the reflection! Have fun with your new ride! |

Congrats on the new car, it looks beautiful. Though I'm biased as I also have an AW e92. I've been having a blast just getting to know the car and driving it. This is the only car I've owned that requires almost no mods to have fun in. I am constantly surprised at how easy it is for these cars to go sideways in a turn---such a blast when pushed hard.
