Battery tender input voltage
Does anyone know if the input voltage on the BMW battery tenders are universal (like supports 100-240V)? My friend abroad wants me to buy him one, but I'm not sure if it will work since often these things are region specific.

I think it varies by charger from what I can see. Mine states 110v input.

In Europe (if they are the same as the US ones) they are manufactured by CTEK and are 220-240 VAC input voltage, see: http://www.ctek.com/ie/en/chargers/MXS%205.0 That's the one I use; it can be programmed for both main battery types, normal and AGM (absorbed glass mat, used by all BMWs) final charge voltages. |

Thanks guys. That's what I figured. Couldn't just check at the dealer as they were out of stock.
