My MW F80 is finally here (new pictures)
EDIT: Met up with a good friend of mine yesterday who snapped some better pictures of my car. If I had planned the photo shoot in advance I would have removed the license plate first and scouted a better location, but they're still cool pictures none-the-less!
--- My first M car and first BMW, I was finally able to pick it up on Sunday! It's going to take a while to adjust to this beast after daily driving an S2000 for the last seven years. I've had the painted badge and kidney grills from IND for a month already, so I eagerly installed those the first day. I was actually surprised at how easily I was able to install the grills after reading about other peoples experiences. I just reached in with my fingers and didn't need to use any tools. Ended up a little bruised but no blood drawn! Last edited by Vetkin; 05-25-2016 at 12:41 PM.. |

I was surprised at how soft the clutch pedal is. I thought my S2000 had a soft clutch but this one is much softer... maybe even too soft. Overall I'm pretty happy with how smooth the shifting is though, which is good because I was only able to test drive the DCT before ordering. |
