Strange Speaker Noise / Vibration
Hello M3ers!
After 4 years of ownership, I guess it's about time for an annoying vibration to show up. Whenever I am driving (moving) I notice a strange vibration/static noise that comes from the driver door speaker and the rear passenger speaker. The noise stops whenever you apply pressure to the speaker grill, which leads me to believe it is related to the speaker housing and not some sort of connection problem. I've attached a video of said noise (can be tough to discern from road noise), but it is definitely there. Any advice? Last edited by mvestor; 12-21-2015 at 08:43 AM.. |

Mine does the same thing on both the driver and passenger door when certain sounds are played. If no one has a better idea to offer you and I then I am probably going to just take my door cards off during the holiday break and felt the hell out of everything.

Look it up I believe there is a recall and the sound is caused by the trim/ring around the speaker.
