Warning Message: Brake intervention not possible...

I got a strange one today:

"Brake intervention not possible, but visual and acoustic warnings are still given. Consult service center."

Pls advise. I will call my local service center if I see the warning again. Keep in mind, it's raining cats & dogs out here...so maybe it has to do with the wet road conditions.

My guess would be that either the rain or something else may be ubstructing the camera's view. More than likely it's the excessive rain.

I was driving like a hooligan the other day and got a "drivetrain malfunction" error. Shut her down and restarted, no CEL...all is good.

OP probably had rain on a sensor. I had sun blind my sensors on a really sunny day and got that message. Not a big deal.

Had so many messages and a few limp modes, but they all reset after a good shutdown.

None. Ever... Even when I fired it up without an exhaust and when I installed the cat-less portion and went for a drive. No CEL, no nothing.

Not even the iDrive speed warning? That and when the weather is bad it gives me the driving assistants are not working are the only ones I've had. Thankfully I'll add.

Edit: I guess if we really want to get technical the oil change due etc warnings also.

Yeah, you're totally right about that. I have mine set to 85.

Ok I think I discovered the culprit. Side view cameras aren't working properly. Haven't had that warning since but now the front view on top down camera mode is blacked out. Ppl are probably wondering why my car is parked so far from the curb.
