Dead Battery

i recently got a flat tire on the fwy and left the blinkers on while i got a ride home to grab the spare. when i came back i noticed the car was dead. i would like to jumpstart it, but would you reccomend using a charger or anything of that sort? what would be the best way to proceed?

Is the car is sitting on the side of the road? Jump start it and get her home.

If it's home safe just get a battery charger from Wal-Mart, charge it for 24 hours and go on your way. If you need the car, jump start it from under the hood on the battery posts. DO NOT jump it directly to the battery.

I've jumped mine twice in the last year from under hood contacts - no problems. Buying myself a battery tender this weekend.

Unless the flashers were going for an extended period of time they shouldn't discharge a healthy battery. It appears that your battery may not be holding a full charge. How old is it? Perhaps it's time for a replacement.

Many of us use the CTEK 5.0 charger. Darn good thing and I really recommend it to everyone, be it motorcycle or car. CTEK is the way to go!
There an vid on youtube just type CTEK BMW M3 E92!

Do you have iDrive? I think it's all the newer stuff that's killing battery's on newer cars? Being able to send map locations and unlocking the doors with your phone. I had a 2008 before without iDrive and the battery was find for the 3 years I had it. With the 2011, doing the same driving, the battery was replaced right around 3 years.
