Is this Jaguar F-Type R Coupe lease deal too good to pass up?

I will likely be able to lease a Jaguar F type v8 R coupe for about $900 a month.Friend of a friend thing. Would you give up an M3 that is paid off for this?

Me personally, I would. I love my M3 but I don't need the space so I'd give an F-type R a go for a bit; you can always come back to the M3. That monthly is not much more than what I'm currently paying for my M.

May I ask how old you are? I think the Jag R is a great car. The nasty, brutal engine note cannot be forgotten, I hear it regularly in my friends RR Sport SVR. It's truly exotic sounding.

But man, I see only dudes 50+ driving that thing. I'd feel old in it.

For $900, I wouldn't even hesitate. I've never driven one, but they look nice and sound amazing. I wish I had a friend of a friend hookup... I can see how the fact that the M3 is paid for makes it a more difficult decision though. Good luck figuring it out.

Agree with JTO. Give it a go? Why not. The exhaust note is amazing and that front grill and "fins" are absolutely gorgeous

Keep the M and and scoop the F-Type up as a second toy.

Honestly though, I think the F-Type is more comparable to an M6 in style/performance. With that said, I'd would do it if you had an M6, but change is always nice and I'm sure the F-Type isn't a slouch.

If you were leasing both, yes, in a heartbeat, but, hard to ignore the fact your M3 is paid for. By taking on a new lease, at the end of the day you're left with nothing. Well, nothing but sweet, sweet memories of riding around in amazing looking, amazing sounding, "not everybody has one" Jag

This is heart vs. brain decision, good luck making your mind.

As much as I love the the f-type R, its not really a replacement for the M3 in terms of practicality. I would get it in addition to the M3 since the M3 is paid for. If you have another car for practicality purposes, i would sell that to get the jag.

Keep the M3 and get the Jag. $900 for a Jag R is not bad. Good thing is a lease since we all know about Jag and their long term reliability. I'll say do it and after the lease be done with it.

Chase is JNA's leasing bank and they have special rates right now that afford those payments... Enjoy the car (if you get it)- the AWD dig romps with the dagger shooting exhaust will render the radio all but useless.

So basically this month would be a great month to get an F-type R?

I checked about two weeks ago, late January and it wasn't looking too good for leasing. 106k sticker (no options came out to like 1400 a month)

I was messing around on the configurator..

15k off MSRP is needed on a base 104k F Type R in order to be 901 a month, but I'm not even sure if they are updated rates. It might be new to this month for those payments.
