Throttle actuators and warranty

Hi, just want to run this by the group here. I have a 2011 e90m w/ ~58k miles and is in CA (I did run over to Las Vegas to purchase it).

I believe since it is registered in CA the Throttle actuators are protected under the 8/80 emissions waranty so I shouldn't have to worry or do any preemptive gear swaps until after 8/80 expires in 2018 ?

Thanks for your input.

Bonus question: are the idle control valve or purge valve included in this emissions warranty?

It is 70k miles, not 80k and 7 years, not 8.

Your logic otherwise is correct.

See page 39 of the BMW M3 2011 Warranty Manual.
